The reason behind starting eDreams.

Product based software companies in India are very few. Inspite of the huge potential and talent, we have'nt produced a company on par with a Microsoft or a Google, even though it is known fact that considerable amount of success of these companies are due to the Indian minds in their ranks. This was the main driver behind launching this company.

Apart from that, most of the software products that are produced in the world till date are mainly meant for adult consumers. We feel, the children segment have been majorly neglected by this sector and as a result, most of these products are either forcefed or unused by this segment of the society. This situation was the main reason behind the "vision" of our company which says "To improve the life of every child/student globally through student only technology innovations", which means we are not going to work on any product which does not help or meant for a child's learning/knowledge gaining/education.

The third main reason behind the starting of this company: We all know, education plays a major role in the well-being of a society. A country's development is directly proportional to the literacy rate of its people. Apart from the nation, our personal development is hugely influenced by the amount of education we received. As a result of all these, we thought serving the field of education is the best way on our part to serve the nation in whatever amount possible.

So, here we are, by shifting to the new registered office at Domlur on 1st of July, 2010, we are officially declaring the launch of eDreams Software Innovation Pvt. Ltd. (www.edreamssoftware.com)
